Decades of Hands-On Experience
I first learned to paint from my grandfather when I was eight years old, beginning many decades of hands-on experience with surface finishing. Over the years, that experience has included residential painting, drywall work, automotive finishes, surface preparation, sanding, and polishing.

Mark's is owner-operated—not a large painting company sending a different crew to your home. I personally evaluate the job, discuss the options with you, prepare the surfaces, and perform the work. That means you know who is working in your home and who is responsible for the finished result.

A good finish starts long before the paint goes on. I take surface preparation seriously—repairing imperfections, sanding properly, feathering drywall repairs, and preparing each surface for the finish it needs. My experience with everything from drywall and residential painting to automotive finishes has taught me that the details you put into preparation are what determine the quality of the finished job.

Mark's was created for homeowners who want skilled, dependable help without needing a large remodeling project. Small drywall repairs, a single room, a few doors, or other jobs that larger contractors may not want are welcome here. I also maintain current state and FBI fingerprint-based background checks, giving customers additional peace of mind about who they're inviting into their home.
